At Dragoman Overland Headquarters in UK accommodation known as 'The Barns' is provided for trainees. The Barns also serves as a place for crew to return to when on layover between trips. At times it can be full of activity as trainees socialise with experienced crew. Plenty of stories are told and there is always a friendly face to meet you there.
The Barns has free internet access, television with a variety of DVDs and videos, a selection of books, a payphone, a sound system and power shower. What more could an overlander ask for?!
The Barns are always there for crew as a place to live whilst employed by Dragoman Overland. Think of it as home!
Trainees ensure that the Barns are kept clean and tidy and that Dragoman Overlands environmental policy regarding recycling is carried out regularly.
Debenham has a leisure centre, a number of pubs and a variety of shops, so you can guarantee that there is something to do during your spare time at Dragoman Overland. The company has a very good relationship with people in the village so it won’t be long before you are recognised around the area. There is a real sense of community spirit in Debenham which you will soon start to notice as a Dragoman Overland employee.
